Hosea 7:16

SV	Zij keren zich, [maar] niet [tot] den Allerhoogste, zij zijn als een bedrieglijke boog; hun vorsten vallen door het zwaard; vanwege de gramschap hunner tong; dat is hunlieder bespotting in Egypteland.
WLC	יָשׁ֣וּבוּ ׀ לֹ֣א עָ֗ל הָיוּ֙ כְּקֶ֣שֶׁת רְמִיָּ֔ה יִפְּל֥וּ בַחֶ֛רֶב שָׂרֵיהֶ֖ם מִזַּ֣עַם לְשֹׁונָ֑ם זֹ֥ו לַעְגָּ֖ם בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
Trans.	yāšûḇû\| lō’ ‘āl hāyû kəqešeṯ rəmîyâ yipəlû ḇ^aḥereḇ śārêhem mizz^a‘am ləšwōnām zwō l^a‘əgām bə’ereṣ miṣərāyim:

AC	טז ישובו לא על היו כקשת רמיה--יפלו בחרב שריהם מזעם לשונם זו לעגם בארץ מצרים
ASV	They return, but not to [him that is] on high; they are like a deceitful bow; their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.
BE	They have gone to what is of no value; they are like a false bow; their captains will come to destruction by the sword, and their ruler by my wrath; for this, the land of Egypt will make sport of them.
Darby	They return, [but] not to the [Most] High: they are like a deceitful bow. Their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.
ELB05	Sie wenden sich um, doch nicht nach oben: sie sind wie ein trüglicher Bogen geworden. Ihre Fürsten werden durchs Schwert fallen wegen der Wut ihrer Zunge: das wird ihre Verspottung sein im Lande Ägypten.
LSG	Ce n'est pas au Très-Haut qu'ils retournent; Ils sont comme un arc trompeur. Leurs chefs tomberont par l'épée, A cause de l'insolence de leur langue. C'est ce qui les rendra un objet de risée dans le pays d'Egypte.
Sch	Sie wenden sich wohl um, aber nicht nach oben; sie sind wie ein trügerischer Bogen. Ihre Fürsten sollen durchs Schwert fallen wegen ihrer trotzigen Reden, welche ihnen nur Spott eintragen im Lande Ägypten.
